Our cabs have a low profile design that is tapered towards the top to reduce the height and overall size of the parts of the cab that may contact limbs, canes or fruit. In addition, each cab is equipped with a robust set of limb risers that gently raise any low hanging limbs and canes up and over the top as the tractor passes through the vineyard or orchard.
The Fruit Cab and Kool Cab are both Low Profile cabs. By design, they are tapered at the top but become full width at the belt-line providing the maximum amount of room where the operator needs it most. Cab doors are designed large enough so that there is plenty of room for operators to enter and exit these specialty cabs.
Yes. Both the Fruit Cab and Kool Cab have an integrated ROPS (roll over protective structure) designed into each cab. These are physically tested in accordance with applicable SAE and ASEA standards. This ensures every operator a safe work environment – always.
The Steel Door option was developed for those growers who have lower growing orchards. These are orchards where tree limbs will contact the front and sides of the tractor cab. The Steel Door option provides a door that is primarily reinforced fabricated steel to withstand the harsh treatment that can be found when tree limbs strike the cab’s main body.
A schedule of easy regular daily maintenance takes care of your Fruit Cab and Kool Cabs. This includes blowing the surfaces of the cab off, blowing off the HVAC system and blowing out the air filter found right at the front of the cab, above the windshield. As easy as 1, 2, 3.
